QR content and browser storage
QR images are generated in your browser. The generator does not upload your input or logo to a QR generation service. Downloading a QR code records its content in this browser’s local history, limited to the latest 100 records. This may include Wi-Fi credentials or contact details. Saved projects also keep the content and design you choose to save on this device.
You can delete download history on the QR History page and remove saved projects on the Saved Projects page. Clearing this site’s browser data removes both, along with cached files. Local data is not synced across devices, and other people using the same browser profile may be able to access it.
Project backups are unencrypted JSON files downloaded to your device. They can contain passwords, contact details, and private URLs. Import reads the selected file in your browser; backups are not uploaded to a storage service. Deleting browser data does not delete downloaded backup files.
Shared pages and protected links
Digital business cards and multi-link pages include their content in the shared URL. Anyone with that URL can read the content. Opening these pages sends the URL and its query parameters to our hosting service; URLs may also appear in browser history or hosting logs. Do not include confidential information in these public pages.
Protected QR links contain an encrypted destination in the URL fragment. The password and decryption are handled in your browser. Download history stores the encrypted link, not its password or decrypted destination. Expiry is checked against the visitor’s device clock and is not server-enforced access control.
Analytics and advertising
This site loads Google Analytics for traffic measurement. It receives browser and network information and may use cookies or similar storage. AdSense ad serving is currently disabled; an account-verification meta tag remains in the page. Our analytics configuration omits URL query parameters and fragments. We do not intentionally send QR form values or local history as analytics events.
Read Google’s privacy policy for information about its processing and available controls.
Offline files
The site caches a limited number of public pages and application files for offline use. Shared contact cards, multi-link pages, protected-link pages, local activity pages, and URLs with query parameters are excluded from this cache.
